Frequently asked questions.
Isn’t the ISAC Museum free?
Yes, if you attend by yourself. However, the ISAC museum charges a fee for self-guided tours. The cost of the tour is the cost that the museum will charge MiT to book it.
Do we get a refund if we need to cancel our tour?
Per the museum’s policy, you will get a full refund for cancellations with 48+ hours notice. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, you forfeit the $50 booking fee that the museum collects.
Can we give a monetary gift to our guide?
It is not expected, but it is appreciated. It helps cover the cost of gas to travel to the museum & supports the creation of Gallery Guide & Study Project content. Please use the Zelle payment method.
Where can I park?
Barring special events, weekend street parking is available on University Avenue between 59th and 57th.
If you visit during the week, street parking is scarce. Plan ahead. Visit the museum website for up-to-date parking recommendations.
What can I bring into the galleries?
Check the museum website for up-to-date gallery policies.
Do you offer tours in other languages?
We are English only at this time but willing to work with a translator. If you want a Spanish or Chinese language tour, email mit.bibletours@gmail.com & we may be able to make some recommendations.
Is this for Jehovah’s Witnesses only?
No. Anyone interested in the Bible is welcome to join. References in the tours & study projects come from publications available on JW.ORG, but those are all free and available to the public.
